A dialogue with Datuk Charlie on career well-being

A dialogue with Datuk Charlie on career well-being

The Young Working Adults gathering is a monthly programme for youths to discuss common issues faced at work and how to resolve them in accordance to Dhamma.

On Tuesday 12 November, the young working adults group gathered at Nalanda Community Centre for their monthly gathering. This session featured a dialogue with Datuk Charlie Chia, a prominent Buddhist figure and corporate leader who shared his experiences candidly with the group.

Facilitated by Sis. Amanda Chen, Datuk Charlie spoke about  common issues faced by those just statting to shape their careers, emphasising that his career success was largely due to the Dhamma values and principles he had learned and applied in his life.  When we carry good intentions and harmlessness towards others, others will naturally find us trustworthy and want to cooperate together as well.

The session started with the calming of the mind.

Dialogue session is facilitated by Sis. Amanda Chen, one of the organising committee members of this programme.

Datuk Charlie Chia, the speaker of the day shared his vast career experience and Dhamma realisation throughout his career journey.

The session sparked inspiring conversations.

We thank Datuk Charlie Chia for spending time with us to guide the young adults.

We extend our gratitude to Datuk Charlie for his time and efforts in guiding young working adults towards achieving holistic career well-being.  We look forward to the next gathering in December as we continue to grow and learn.
