Arrival of Luang Pu Tohn

28 March 2013

Nalandians welcoming the arrival of Luang Pu Tohn with great reverence.

The arrival of one of the most venerated monks in Thailand, Luang Pu Tohn of the Thai forest tradition at KLIA was received with great warmth and reverence by the Thai Buddhist community in Kuala Lumpur as well as by Malaysian devotees.  Luang Pu Tohn is in Kuala Lumpur at the kind invitation of Khun Dr. Romdej Phisalaphong, the First Secretary at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

Bro. Tan sharing Luang Pu Tohn’s advice to take refuge in the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha; and truly understand the meaning of taking refuge.

Our Founder Bro. Tan and Deputy President Bro. Lee Teck Beng led the Board of Management and Youth Leaders to the welcoming ceremony.  Nalanda accorded the highest honour to Luang Pu Tohn with the unfolding of the ‘Pabhassara’ (Buddhist colour) Parasol.  Luang Pu was delighted to see all the respectful Nalandians in full uniform and offered his blessings. Sadhu!

Paying respects to Luang Pu Tohn with faith and humility.
