On Saturday 5 October, the community came together to offer alms to the Sangha in the morning markets of Taman OUG and Happy Garden. The serene sight of the Sangha members on alms-round inspired many market-goers to offer food and drinks with deep devotion.

The Abbot President of Dharma Drum Mountain, Venerable Guo Huei(方丈和尚果暉法师), shared that the new five-storey building is twice the size of the current Centre in Petaling Jaya, with a spacious meditation hall and accommodation facilities.
