Strengthen meditation practice at workshop by Bro. Tan Siang Chye

Over the Thaipusam holiday on Tuesday 11 February, over 40 participants joined the Meditation Workshop guided by Bro. Tan Siang Chye at Nalanda Centre.  Dedicating their day to learning and practice, the group better understood meditation skills and techniques in the Vipassana technique under the Mahasi tradition.

Dhamma teaching in Mandarin by Ven. Prof. K.L. Dhammajoti

We invite you to join us and learn from Ven. Prof. K.L. Dhammajoti at Nalanda Education and Outreach Centre in Happy Garden this coming Thursday 20 February.  Ven. Prof. K.L. Dhammajoti graduated from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka with a doctorate in philosophy.  His teaching career started in 1982 as a senior lecturer with the university and became a professor 10 years later.

It was the perfect opportunity for students to enhance their understanding of gratitude amid the Lunar New Year celebrations, and express their thanks to their loved ones, especially their parents.
