Training for Dhamma School facilitators

On Saturday 30 January, Sis Sunanda Ong and Sis. Nandini Tan conducted a special training session for facilitators of Nalanda Dhamma School.  In the first part of the training, Dhamma School Director Sis. Sunanda introduced the School’s programmes for the first semester to the facilitators; she also explained that the current focus would be on building good friendship, inculcating Buddhist culture, and achieving family well-being.

Development Committee held 5th meeting

The Wisdom Park Development Committee held its fifth meeting recently to discuss the Master Plan for the entire Buddhist educational facility, which comprises 11 inter-related zones spread over 26 acres of greenery.  Members of the Committee are aiming for the optimal land-use while maintaining a sense of spaciousness in the Park.

Local Sangha members visit Nalanda Centre 

On Friday 22 January, local Sangha members Ven. Zhen Che (振澈法师), Ven. Pu Hui (普辉法师), Ven. Pu Ye (普悦法师) and  Ven. Shi Di (实谛法师) came to Nalanda Centre for a visit.  They were warmly greeted by the Director of Nalanda Centre Sis. Nandini, who led them on a tour of the building.

Intermediate Buddhist Studies in Mandarin

Nalanda Institute Malaysia is pleased to offer its first Intermediate Buddhist Studies course in Mandarin (BPS201) from 5 March to 14 May. There will be 8 sessions held on designated Saturdays, from 3.00pm to 6.00pm. The course is suited for those who have attended the Basic Buddhist Studies course in Mandarin (BPS101 or BPS001) or its equivalent.
