On Sunday 22 June, Nalanda Members’ Day was successfully held at Nalanda Centre, attended by members from Sri Serdang and Kuala Lumpur branches. During the training session, Nalanda’s Founder Bro. Tan walked the members through the meaning of membership in Nalanda, and reminding all Nalandians to stay focused on the mission and vision of the Society.

Read moreOn Saturday 21 June, the Buddhist Community Alliance* (BCA) organized a “People Engagement Workshop” – the third in a series of such workshops for Buddhist community leaders. The workshop was held at Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society (KMBS) in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong. Its objective was to establish a protocol and system of “People Engagement” for gradual adoption. A handbook on “People Engagement” will be published as a guide for implementing it in the respective participating organisations.

Read moreOn Friday 13 June, a group of 7 teachers and 23 primary school students from Nalanda Free School (NFS) visited the Lady Bird Organic Farm in Semenyih. The aim of this trip was to provide students with an enriching outdoor learning experience and to strengthen the fellowship between teachers and students. The students were especially selected for the trip as a reward for their perfect attendance at Nalanda Free School since January!
