Thirty participants ascended the Tan Yew Lai Hilltop Buddhist Centre in Puchong for a 3-day meditation retreat under the guidance of Sayalay Susīla. A Theravada nun since 1991, Sayalay practised Vipassana meditation intensively for many years in Myanmar under the guidance of well-known masters.
The participants picked up precious pointers on the practice from the experienced and amiable nun. Feedback from the yogis were very positive and many were inspired to keep on practising after the retreat.
