Ven. Dhammajoti graduated from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka with a doctorate in philosophy. His teaching career started in 1982 as a senior lecturer with the university and became a professor 10 years later. He is also the founding editor of the Journal of Buddhist Studies in Sri Lanka. Since 2016, Venerable Dhammajoti has been a chair professor with the School of Philosophy at Renmin University of China, hosting Dharma seminars in Beijing annually.
VEN. AJAHN SUNANDO

Hailing from California, USA, Ajahn Sunando began monastic training at age 27 in 2001 as a novice at the Fo Guang Shan Monastery in Kaohshiung, Taiwan. Ajahn transitioned into the Vajrayana tradition while still in Taiwan and moved to Dharamshala, India for a year in 2002. Ajahn ordained under the Thai Forest Tradition in 2004 at Wat Nong Pah Pong, with Luang Por Liem as his preceptor, and has spent many years journeying on foot to practise in various monasteries throughout Thailand.
VEN. AJAHN PAVARO

In 2001, Ajahn Pavaro’s early formative monastic training took place with Ajahn Sona at Sitavana Forest Monastery. He spent his 7th year as a Bhikkhu with his preceptor, Luang Por Pasanno, and the Sangha at Abhayagiri. In 2010 he moved to Thailand and spent the majority of the next 9 years with Ajahn Achalo at Anandagiri Monastery in Petchabun. In June 2020 he was welcomed to Tisarana Monastery in Ontario, Canada, where he now resides.
