BPS 0321 – Course on “Devotional Practice”

The lively and informative session on 'Buddhist Devotional Practice' was conducted by Achariya Vijaya Samarawickrama.

The first module of “Buddhist Devotional Practice” Course organised by Nalanda Institute attracted a good turn out on 19 April.  The session was conducted by the Director of Nalanda Institute – Achariya Vijaya Samarawickrama – a well-known, experienced, and passionate Dhamma speaker.

Achariya Vijaya explained the importance of understanding the spiritual meaning of various rituals, including making offerings at the altar, prostrations, and reflection on symbolic objects of veneration.  Participants benefited from the new-found knowledge and understanding through this course, and consequently confidence in their practice was enhanced.

Attending this course is a great way to get to know Buddhist teachings and devotional practices!
