‘Buddha Day’ Morning Service

Sunday, 19 May | 9.00 am – 11.00 am

This special service will commence at 9.00am with meditation, offerings and chanting.  At 10.00am, Dhamma talks in English by Achariya Vijaya Samarawickrama and in Mandarin by Bro. Aggaphala Yap will be held concurrently.

 

Sutta Study with Bro. Tan 

Sunday, 19 May | 3.00 pm- 4.30 pm

Bro. Tan will conduct this Sutta Study session with insightful teachings on selected passages from the Pāli Canon to broaden and deepen our appreciation of the Buddha’s teachings.

 

We also invite you to join other important programmes tomorrow :

7.00 am : Pindacāra (monks on alms-round) around Nalanda Centre

8.00 am : Breakfast dāna to venerable monks

11.30 am : Lunch dāna to venerable monks

5.30 pm : ‘Mass Food Offering’ to the community

7.00 pm :  Heritage Procession & ‘Dhamma Appreciation Night’

 

Nalanda wishes all Buddhists a joyful observance of ‘Buddha Day’ with meaningful participation in spiritual activities. The best way to honour the Buddha is to learn and practise the Dhamma, and to purify our own minds through proper cultivation.  Namo Buddhaya!
