‘BUDDHA DAY’ MORNING SERVICE |22 May | 9.00 am – 11.00 am
Buddha Pūja will commence at 9.00am with meditation, offerings and chanting, followed by a Dhamma talk by Bro. Tan Siang Chye on the theme “Peace begins with Me”. After the service, there will be offering of lunch dana to venerable monks and you may bring cooked food to offer.
SUTTA STUDY WITH BRO. TAN SIANG CHYE | 22 May |2.30 pm – 5.00 pm
Explore the Ānuttariya Sutta (Anggutara Nikaya 6.30), to learn about the various qualities and path of practice that encompasses ethical living, meditation, and the cultivation of insight. The session is conducted by Achariya Tan Siang Chye, Director of Nalanda Institute Malaysia and starts with a meditation session. DHAMMA TALK BY AJAHN DTON |22 May |8.00 pm
The Dhamma Appreciation Night features a Dhamma talk by Ajahn Dton Dhirapanno, the co-abbot of Wat Pah Boon Lorm in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Ajahn Dton completed his medical education in Thailand and pursued advanced studies in paediatrics at the American Board of Paediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. In 1998, he returned to Thailand and ordained at Wat Nong Pa Pong, following the lineage of Ajahn Chah in the Thai Forest Tradition.
DHAMMA TALK IN MANDARIN BY BRO. AGGAPHALA YAP |26 May | 9.00 am
Join us for the Sunday Morning Service on 26 May which features by a Dhamma talk in Mandarin by Bro. Aggaphala Yap. The service starts at 9am with meditation and chanting.
