Buddha Jayanti & Wisdom Park Exhibitions just launched

Launching of the Exhibition by Nalanda leaders.

The Buddha Jayanti and Wisdom Park Exhibitions have just been launched this morning!  We invite you to come and view the exhibitions from now until 26 May, and learn more about Buddhist education.  Guides will be on hand to bring you through the exhibits.

The Buddha Jayanti Exhibition, a special highlight of Wesak Observance is prepared by Nalanda Dhamma School facilitators and students to share the Buddha’s teachings in creative ways.  This year’s exhibits, specially crafted by the students, carry in them messages of how ‘Peace begins with Me’.

Youths and Dhamma School students presented a hymn.

Bro. Tan Siang Chye congratulated the students for their efforts to reach the community with messages of Dhamma.

Dhamma School student, Sis. Lim Qian Ying hosted the launch.

Dhamma School student, Bro. Keith shares his learning and thoughts behind his exhibit piece.

Visit the Wisdom Park Exhibition to learn about the objectives of this educational hub, and programmes held there since the completion of Phase 1.  The campus is dedicated to developing competent Dhamma teachers and integral Buddhist leaders, factors which are essential for the growth of Buddhism in the long-run.

We also invite you to come and join the Meditation and Sutta Study with Achariya Tan Siang Chye today at 2.30pm, and tonight’s Heritage Procession and Dhamma Appreciation Night at 7pm.  The Mass Food Offering will start at 5pm.  We look forward to seeing you at Nalanda Centre.  Namo Buddhaya!
