Buddhist leaders rejoice at Wisdom Park

We are grateful to all the Buddhist leaders for joining this momentous gathering.

On Saturday 26 November, over 100 members of the Mahā Sangha and Buddhist leaders gathered at Wisdom Park in a joyful reunion of kalyana mittas.  The group received updates on the progress of this educational facility dedicated to the Buddha Sasana and rejoiced in the Dhamma programmes held there to-date.

On this special occasion, the leaders unveiled the directory and planted trees, symbolic of the role that leaders play to provide guidance and direction, and in nurturing their community in order for the Sāsana to flourish.  The group then adjourned to the campus tour to better understand the layout and diverse functions of the buildings, parks and pavilions.

Ven. Saranankara together with members of the Sangha led the offerings to the Three Jewels. Bro KC Tan and Bro Tan Kim See representing lay Buddhist leaders to make offerings.

We are grateful and priviledged to receive the Buddhist community leaders, all of whom had committed much of their time & effort to community outreach and propagating the Buddha’s Teachings.  Thank you for supporting the Wisdom Park project, and may the Buddha-Sāsana long endure.
