On Thursday 12 February, Nalanda Sungai Petani Branch Secretary Sis. Sumedha and member Dr. Song Wai Leng visited the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science & Technology (AIMST) for the first outreach programme on its main campus in Bedong, Kedah.

Dr. Song was invited to give a Dhamma talk on the topic, “Let It Go, or Give It Up”.  Dr Song explained that ‘letting go’ means not being attached to something which does not belong to us; while ‘giving up’ means not striving for something unwholesome and unworthy of our pursuit.

The session with Dr. Song proved to be an interactive experience for AIMST students.  Dr. Song’s background as a practising doctor and his deep understanding of Dhamma was well-appreciated by the student-audience.  Sadhu anumodana!

It was an interactive session where students asked questions and gave their views.
