Welcoming Ajahn Dton for Youth Cultivation Day

This morning, Nalanda members and volunteers warmly welcomed Ajahn Dton Dhirapanno to Nalanda Centre.  Ajahn Dton is conducting the Youth Cultivation Day programme today for students of ages 16 to 23, to introduce them to meditation, as well as guide them towards maintaining calm and peace during challenges and demanding times.  We wish the students fruitful learning today.

Peace Walk and Dhamma Talk by Ach. S. Vijaya

Come and join the Buddha Day ‘Peace Walk’ this Saturday 25 May, at Nalanda Education and Outreach Centre in Happy Garden.  The programme features a Dhamma talk by Achariya S. Vijaya at 6.30pm, followed by the serene ‘Peace Walk’ around the housing community at 7.30pm.  Light refreshments will be served from 6pm.  We look forward to welcome you at NEO Centre, Happy Garden.

Exploring the path of peace at Buddha Eve Service

On Buddha Day eve, Tuesday 21 May, devotees gathered at Nalanda Centre to ready themselves for the most auspicious observance in the Buddhist calendar.  In this serene evening surrounded by kalyana mittā, Sis. Paruadi Ramasamy shared that the path of peace is one that we have to personally experience.

Preparations are almost done for the Heritage Procession which starts at 7pm tonight at Nalanda Centre.  We invite you to join us for this unique cultural experience where the Buddharupam is conveyed on a wooden sedan to the harmonious beat of drums and gongs, accompanied by beautifully hand-crafted paraphernalia.
