‘Lawatan Sambil Belajar’ for JB Free School students

On Saturday 23 September, over 30 teachers, students and volunteers from Nalanda Johor Bahru Free School joined a field trip to enhance the students’ learning experience.  Guided by the adults, the trip improved the students’ awareness of conserving the environment and protecting wildlife whilst relating what they learned in the classroom with hands-on experience.

Learning to ‘Make Wise Choices in Life’ at Dhamma-Living Camp

From 28 September to 1 October, over 100 participants and volunteers of the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults congregated at Wisdom Park for four days of wholesome learning and service.  Carrying the theme ‘Make Wise Choices in Life’, the campers gradually learned principles taught by the Buddha to help shape their mental attitudes throughout life’s journey.

Fellowship Undergraduate Network (F.U.N.) programme starts this Saturday!  Organised by Nalanda Youth Centre, this programme which is designed specifically for university students aged 18 to 23, will explore the theme of ‘Leading with Purpose’ and provide a platform for youths to cultivate leadership qualities needed for personal and professional success.
