On Wesak ‘Buddha Day’, Nalanda received a visit by Yang Berhormat, Puan Yeo Bee Yin, Member of Parliament for Puchong, which covers Sri Serdang where Nalanda Centre is located. Accompanying her were Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya councillors Mr. Mohan Singh and Mr. Wong Yii Seang.

Born in Brisbane Australia. he developed a keen interest in meditation at the age of twenty and a year later left for Thailand to study Buddhism. After two years of practising in various centres and monasteries, Ajahn Achalo ordained in 1996 at Wat Nong Pah Pong. All are welcome!
