On Saturday 15 October, 72 Nalanda Dhamma School facilitators, parents and students had a joyful Family Day at Wisdom Park. Families had the opportunity to work together to render their service in upkeeping Wisdom Park and greening the environment. The service was followed by family-bonding activities which were filled with fun while instilling wholesome values such as patience, mutual support and trust between family members.

The educational tour was led by Dr. Chen, lead of the Landscaping Team at Wisdom Park and focused mainly on the trees in the Park’s botanical theme sector of ‘Forest Fringe’.

Read moreOn 18 September, 100 participants from the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults spread out across Wisdom Park to render their service in cultivating and maintaining the campus grounds. The youths worked hard in teams to plant trees, turf grass, and constructed a vegetable plot with positivity, harmony and a can-do spirit – not a furrowed brow was seen amidst the perspiration and weariness. Even the intermittent rain did not dampen the spirit to keep going!
Read moreLast Saturday 1 October, Nalanda Youth Centre was abuzz with activity as university students from around the Klang Valley gathered for their first session of Fellowship Undergraduate Network (F.U.N). The youths got to know each other a little better and also reflected on the value of teamwork in fun and experiential activities. They also discussed how we can break out of our own comfort zone in order to develop more skills and hone our purpose in life.
