On Sunday 12 April, Nalanda Institute invited Associate Professor Dr. Edwin Chung to conduct a workshop on “Inculcating Innovation” for 40 Nalanda officers. Dr. Chung, who is the Associate Dean at Taylor’s University School of Engineering, and the Head for Taylor’s Technology Innovation Centre (TTIC), introduced a range of innovation philosophies and processes to guide participants in understanding the factors that contribute to an organisation’s innovative character, and how these help to enhance our services to the community.

On Saturday 22 November, they were ready to sit for the course examination at Nalanda Centre. Read moreOn 25 and 26 October, the final two sessions of the Mandarin Buddhist Studies Course (Semester 2) was conducted by Sis. Nandini Tan at NEO Centre Johor Bahru. Sis. Nandini gave separate lectures on the ‘Four Noble Truths’ and ‘Noble Eightfold Path’. Six new participants joined the weekend’s class and showed great enthusiasm by arriving early at the Centre to learn the Dhamma.
