Last weekend, over 130 young adults spent 4 days emerging themselves in Dhamma-living and discovering true blessings in life. Our utmost gratitude to Bro. Discovering Blessings at Dhamma-living Camp

For the past two days, participants of the on-going Dhamma Living Camp for Young Adults have been immersed in Dhamma living to discover the blessings in life.  After arriving yesterday morning, campers have been making new acquaintances and rekindling old friendships.  For deeper discussions and reflection, they gathered in their assigned ‘Dhamma families’ for the duration of the camp.

Registration for youth camp closed

Registration for the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults 2019 witnessed an enthusiastic response with many applications received within 3 weeks.  As such, registration is now closed as the camp is over-subscribed; and although we wish to accept more participants, the limitation of accommodation does not permit us to do that.

Well done to youths at Family Fun Fair

Since 2015, Nalanda Youth Centre has been bringing together young Buddhists across Klang Valley under the ‘Youth Canopy’ at the annual Nalanda Family Fun Fair.  Over 100 youths joyfully participated at the Fun Fair on Sunday 28 July, including members from Buddhist Societies of International Medical University (IMU), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Sungai Long, University of Nottingham Malaysia, and Sunway University.

Youths energetic in service

Over 95 youths from around Klang Valley are coming together to join Nalanda Youth Centre’s activities at the Family Fun Fair this Sunday.  Comprising mainly college students and young working adults, they have been thorough in planning and implementing activities that help both the community and the environment.

Day of Calmness & Serenity for Youths

On Saturday 11 May, 104 participants joined the one-day meditation retreat conducted by Nalanda founder Bro. Tan and Nalanda Institute Director Achariya Tan Siang Chye.  The aim of the retreat is to introduce young adults to regular practice of meditation in order to free their minds from clutter.
