Childrens’ stay-in at NEO Centre Kuala Lumpur

A joyful stay-in together.

On 24 to 25 December, the children from Family Dhamma School in Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch, aged 9 to 14, spent a fun and joyful stay-in programme in NEO Centre Happy Garden. Guided by Sis. Sadhikā Tan and other facilitators, the children explored living in harmony with others and the essential principles of maintaining it through interactive learning sessions, group activities and game.

They practised parichariya dāna (offering of service and effort) by cleaning the premises and washing dishes, and learned mindful eating and walking fostering greater awareness and gratitude in their daily lives. Dhamma School alumnus Bro. Chan Yu and Bro. Jian Sheng also conducted a Dhamma Chat where the students sought guidance on personal challenges and learned practical ways to cultivate a positive mindset. On the last day, their parents also joined the stay-in to practise for a singing performance for their School Honours Day.
