Youths gathering for a potluck dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year.

On Saturday 20 February, Nalandian youths held an enjoyable Lunar New Year gathering at Nalanda Youth Centre.  The potluck dinner was simple, yet the food tasted delicious in the company of good friends.  The evening’s activities included offerings to the Three Jewels and chanting, as well as a talk by special guest – Nalanda founder Bro Tan.

Bro. Tan was happy that the youths had chosen to celebrate the festive season with wholesome activities.  He advised the youths to be discerning in their choice in life; to always recognise the good in others; and when in doubt, to seek the guidance of wise teachers and kalyana mittas.

For friendship and bonding, the youths had some games before the evening came to a close. Thanks to the organisers and all who were there to make the celebration a fun and successful one.
