This Sunday 13 April, Pustaka Nalanda is organizing a commemoration service for Anagarika Dharmapala – the famous writer, speaker, and revivalist of Theravada Buddhism.
Anagarika Dharmapala was also pivotal in the revival of Buddhism in India a century ago, and in the restoration of Bodhgaya, Kusinara and Sarnath for Buddhist pilgrimage. He founded the Mahabodhi Society in India to advance Dhamma propagation and to restore holy sites to Buddhist management.
Join us this Sunday morning at Nalanda Centre for a presentation by Pustaka Nalanda’s Director Bro. Ananda Fong on the life of Anagarika Dharmapala – a great son of Sri Lanka, a model lay Buddhist, and a prolific Dhammaduta of modern times.
All are welcome!
