‘Gardening Days’ are held at Nalanda Centre several times annually, notably before Wesak Day in May, and Malaysia Day in September.

Sunday, 14 September is Nalanda’s annual ‘Community Gardening Day’!  Every year close to ‘Malaysia Day’, Nalandians and the surrounding community will gather in Sri Serdang to clean and green the neighbourhood.  This is one of our efforts to commemorate the country’s founding day, by taking care of cleanliness in our vicinity, and to plant suitable local trees and shrubs to create a better environment for everyone.

We welcome you to join us this Sunday at 9.00am for this wonderful opportunity to get close to nature and contribute to our local society.  We shall begin the day with pūja and Dhamma sharing, followed by gardening activities in groups.

So come in your Sunday gardening best, with straw hats, gloves and tools.  Bring along your family and friends, too.  Let us spend this weekend growing together in harmony with our environment and community!  All are welcome.
