During the recent June holidays, 80 teenage Nalanda Dhamma School students from Sri Serdang and Johor Bahru embarked on a journey of discovery to Kelantan – the most north-easterly state of Peninsular Malaysia – and an important centre of Buddhism centuries ago.

The 4-day tour brought them to many Buddhist temples and cultural hot-spots in and around Kota Bharu.  Nalanda founder Bro. Tan also gave excellent commentaries about the places visited, as well as taught everyone the Dhamma which is simple yet profound.

The students were fortunate to have Bro. Tan giving them teachings and commentaries there.

It was a journey of significant discovery as many students have never been to Kelantan before; and they learned invaluable lessons on their first visit there with good teachers.
