Enriching tour of Thailand for Nalanda Johor Bahru Branch members

At one of the many magnificent ruins in Ayutthaya.

From 11 – 16 December, 24 members of Nalanda Johor Bahru Branch embarked on a study tour of Thailand.  Led by Sis. Nandinī Tan and Bro. David Yap, the entourage strengthened their faith and understanding of Buddhist history by immersing themselves in the rich Buddhist monuments and sites of Bangkok and Ayutthaya.

The group also took the opportunity to cultivate their spirituality together by living harmoniously and supporting each other throughout the journey, visiting temples and making offerings to Sangha members, and conducting daily reflections.  It was an enriching tour that deepened the trust and bond among the members.

Immersing in the ambience of the ancient spiritual site.

We rejoice in the efforts of Nalanda JB Branch in organising this study tour that fostered deeper appreciation for Buddhist history as well.
