17 November 2024 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
We invite you and your family members to join us in observing ‘Sangha Day’ at Nalanda. This is an important occasion for Buddhists to honour the virtues and contributions of the monastic community. Devotees express gratitude to monks and nuns who strive diligently in practising the Dhamma, and teaching it for the benefit of mankind.
On ‘Sangha Day’, we can offer robes, requisites, or donate towards the Sangha Fund for their educational and supportive needs. For your convenience, robes and requisites can be obtained from Nalanda Office at 03-8938 1500. Contributions towards the Sangha Fund can be made at the Office as well.
The service will commence at 9am with meditation, chanting and a Dhamma talk by Sis. Paruadi Ramasamy on the importance of the Sangha community. After the offerings of requisites to the Sangha, we will also offer lunch dana to the venerable monastics. All are welcome.
