Family Dhamma School’s ‘Day of Learning’

Family Dhamma School’s ‘Day of Learning’

Spending quality time with family enhances our understanding of each other.

Just two days ago, on Saturday 23 September, Nalanda Family Dhamma School went for an excursion to Wisdom Park.  On this ‘Day of Learning’, the families spent quality time together strengthening the values of care and respect for each other.

Enhancing their learning through games and sports, parents felt comfortable entrusting their children through more effective communication and mutual support.  Sis. Sadhika Tan, School Coordinator of Family Dhamma School shared that when they apply more care in communicating with each other, they can avoid misunderstandings and foster better familial harmony.

The programme started with offerings to the Three Jewels and morning chanting.

Sis. Nandini Tan, gave words of advice, reminding everyone to have care for each other.

We rejoice in the wonderful sportsmanship and learning spirit of all our students in the Family Dhamma School.  Our thanks also extend to all Dhamma School facilitators and teenagers from Serdang who were on hand to assist in making this outing an enjoyable and fruitful session.  Sadhu anumodana.
