Members of Nalanda Sungai Petani Branch is having their final preparatory meeting in Alor Setar tonight (15 October) before they host the fund-raising concert this Saturday, 18 October, at 7.30 pm.  Nalanda members and devotees in the North have been putting in a lot of effort to plan for a successful event, so as to show their utmost appreciation to the benefactors and supporters who are coming for the concert.

Earlier, on Saturday 11 October, the organizing and working team had their penultimate meeting at the concert venue – ‘Persatuan Pendidikan Akhlak Lip Seang Kor’ (双溪大年 吉中德教会) to familiarize themselves with the logistical arrangement.

This charity concert aims to raise funds to build an education centre in Sungai Petani to run Dhamma-centred, community-development programmes.  The Nalanda Sungai Petani Branch looks forward to welcome everyone to the “Melodies for the Heart” (慧心启航 祥音飘扬) concert this Saturday.  Thank you all for your kind support!
