Happiness in living a meaningful life

Happiness in living a meaningful life

Learning is made more joyful with the support of good friends.

The final session of the ‘Happy Young Adults’ programme was held just this Tuesday 14 May, at the Nalanda Book Café Community Centre.  From being strangers 3 months ago, to now being good friends, participants gathered to learn from Bro. Tan Siang Chye on ‘Living a Meaningful Life’.

Those who have a purpose in life tend to be happier and more resilient in handling challenges.  This purpose and meaning in life is however not something that others direct us to;  we need to find it within ourselves.  Only then are we able to stay true and persevere towards our goal, as well as gradually experience inner joy from our efforts.

Each session commences with meditation and chanting.

Bro. Tan Siang Chye shared that a meaningful life comes from within, and is solely dependent on our own efforts.

Youths shared their experience in the programme and extended their heartfelt gratitude during the rejoicing session.

We are grateful to our speakers, organisers, and supporters for making this a fruitful learning programme for the youths.

Everyone rejoiced in the heartfelt sharing of participants.
