Happy meeting of two wonderful Elders

Ven. Sri Saranankara Nāyaka Thero showed deep reverence to the elder Ven. Sri Pandit Henepola Gunaratana Nāyaka Maha Thero.

On Sunday 24 November, the Abbot of Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple in Sentul, Ven. Sri Saranankara Nāyaka Thero (40 vassa) made a visit to Nalanda House Sri Serdang to pay respect to an elder monk, Ven. Sri Pandit Henepola Gunaratana Nāyaka Maha Thero (66 vassa). Ven. Sri Saranankara showed deep reverence to the senior bhikkhu.

It was a fruitful and joyful gathering for both elders that evening, and a great blessing for Nalandians to meet and associate with both respected and inspiring venerables who have contributed great services to the Buddha-Sasana. We wish the venerables the blessings of good health, long lives, peace and happiness. Namo Sanghaya!

Both venerable elders having a discussion on the Dhamma and Buddhist community developments.

‘Vassa‘ – Years since higher ordination as a monk, denoting the seniority of bhikkhus.
