Nalanda’s Children Learning Camp for 9 to 12 year-olds was held at Nalanda Centre from 1 to 3 December. The holiday camp with the theme ‘Always be Caring’, was attended by 75 children.  It was organised by Nalanda Dhamma School facilitators and assisted by senior students.

The programme included meditation, Dhamma sharing, educational games and learning-centred activities. The children also had lots of fun at an interactive session with Venerable Sanghasena.

The activities were geared towards teaching children to be caring and having mutual respect for each other in a fun and happy environment.  The participants soon bonded and became good friends.  When the camp ended, many were reluctant to say good-bye to their new buddies.

We thank Nalanda Dhamma School for their superb organisation of the camp.  We also thank the children and their parents for their support and hope to see them again in next year’s camp!
