On 20 January, Nalandians were honoured to host friends from Dhammajata Vihara, Pulau Pinang, led by their Abbot, Venerable Dhammasiri.  The Society’s President Sis. Ong Ah Mooi, Deputy President Bro. Ng Chin Teck and 36 members accompanied Venerable Dhammasiri on this visit to the Klang Valley.

Sis. Evelyn Chow, President of Nalanda Buddhist Society together with Nalanda officers warmly welcomed Venerable Dhammasiri, the Dhammajata Committee and their Dhamma School students on the Sunday afternoon.  After a guided tour of Nalanda Centre and K. Sri Dhammananda Centre, the entourage adjourned for afternoon tea and wholesome discussions on Dhamma education and propagation for the benefit of the community.
