IMU students visit Nalanda Youth Centre

On Sunday 7 December, students from the International Medical University (IMU) in Bukit Jalil paid a visit to Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang.  They were warmly received and hosted by Nalandian youths.  The group spent 4 hours touring the facilities including Nalanda Youth Centre, Youth Library, and the Main Reference Library.

The group later called on Nalanda Founder Bro. Tan to invite him for talks on campus next year.  Bro. Tan mentioned that the Buddha-Dhamma is suitable for people of all ages – and especially for youths!  He gave everyone a short but insightful sharing on the Buddha’s struggles prior to liberation, and why Siddhattha Gotama chose to renounce home-life in the first place despite living a luxurious, comfortable life.

The visiting students called on Nalanda Founder Bro. Tan to invite him for talks next year.

The IMU students had a lot of interaction and discussions with Nalandian youths, and left after lunch with new ideas, inspiration, and renewed vigour!  Thank you for visiting us and we look forward to seeing you again, soon.

The student group’s 4-hour visit ended with lots of discussion and interaction over lunch.
