Today, May 12 is observed as International Nurses’ Day across the world to appreciate and honour the services of nurses. This celebration falls on the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is often regarded as the founder of modern nursing. In her time, Nightingale went beyond the call of duty and braved through difficult situations to save lives out of compassion for those in need.
Much like her, nurses across the world have been working tirelessly and selflessly for the past years to help the tens of millions who were afflicted by Covid-19. This respected profession forms the link between doctor and patient, administering the medication and treatment plan as the main caregiver to those at their most fragile state. Their attentiveness and encouragement also boosts morale and positively impacts the healing process.
With gratitude for their remarkable work, join us to thank all nurses and wish them a happy ‘International Nurses Day’. Thank you for your care!
