It is our duty to keep others safe

Our responsible actions will protect those around us and the wider community.

In just the last 4 weeks, another 6.7 million people have been infected by Covid-19 worldwide bringing the total number of infections to 16.7 million.  Over 650,000 of those infected have succumbed to the virus, and more than 66,000 are in critical condition.  The numbers are staggering and yet the peak is likely not over, according to experts.

Each of us can influence whether Covid-19 continues its rampage or commences its decline.  It is our individual actions and decisions that will protect our loved ones and ourselves from the virus.  We must carry out our duty to keep others safe by being responsible citizens and cultivating a conscientious community.

Each of us have a part to play to help stem the spread of the virus.

With understanding and compassion for others, let us follow all precautionary measures diligently; maintain good hygiene, avoid crowded places, adhere to contact tracing, wear face masks, and uphold social distancing in public.  Let us also continue to share merits and have thoughts of loving-kindness for all who are affected by this pandemic.  May those who perished be at Peace.
