Joyful experience of alms-giving

Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch hosts the Pindacāra programme on the first Saturday of every month.

On 2 March, Nalandians spent their Saturday morning meaningfully at Taman O.U.G. and Happy Garden markets in the Pindacāra programme.  The programme has been held every first Saturday of the month since 2012 to create awareness on giving alms and the right way to support Sangha members.

Over the years, many devotees who experience a deep sense of joy from participating in alms-giving have become regular supporters and volunteers of this programme.  We rejoice over their diligence and wholesome acts of generosity which also acts to strengthen their foundation for spiritual progress.

Volunteers share with market-goers the proper ways to support the Sangha.

Venerable advised devotees to heighten our practice of meditation, a core teaching of the Buddha.

Nalandians and volunteers offering lunch dāna to Venerable Sir with deep gratitude in their hearts.

We take this opportunity to thank the venerables, all our volunteers and the Sangha Support team for their continuous effort in organising this programme for the benefit of many.  Sadhu anumodana!
