Joyful Family Sports Day at Putrajaya

Joyful Family Sports Day at Putrajaya

A large family photo together after a fulfilling and fun morning.

On Sunday 23 March, over 200 parents, youths, teenagers, and children gathered at Taman Putra Perdana, Putrajaya for an energetic Family Sports Day. The morning kicked off with a lively warm-up session before families teamed up for a series of fun-filled tele-match games.

Laughter and cheers filled the air as parents and children supported each other, strengthening their bonds through play.  In a thrilling tug-of-war competition, adults and children alike gave their best effort in the spirit of sportsmanship and unity.

Warming up together.

Warming up with games that also require good communication and teamwork.

The friendly competition brought families even closer whilst reinforcing the values of teamwork and perseverance beyond the playing field.  The morning culminated in a Dhamma sharing by Sis. Sunanda Ong who highlighted how loving-kindness, truthfulness, and generosity can nurture familial bonds and a harmonious home.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Organising Team for making this joyful day possible.  May the bonds formed on this special day continue to grow, fostering a strong and supportive Dhamma community.  Sadhu!
