Joyful ‘Pindacāra’ in Sri Petaling and Happy Garden

Joyful ‘Pindacāra’ in Sri Petaling and Happy Garden

Offering alms is a wonderful way to educate younger family members in being generous and spiritual.

On Saturday, 2 August, devotees and volunteers participated joyfully in the monthly ‘Pindacāra’ (monks going on alms-round) Programme at the Sri Petaling and Happy Garden morning markets.  We were honoured by the presence of two senior venerables from Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple Sentul, to participate in this alms-round.

After the ‘Pindacāra’, Bro. S. Y. Tong, Head of Department at Nalanda Institute, gave a Dhamma sharing at NEO Centre Happy Garden.  This was followed by lunch for devotees.  We wish to thank all volunteers and devotees for your continued support in the impactful and educational ‘Pindacāra’ Programme.  May the merits accrued be shared with all beings.  Sadhu anumodana!

After the alms-round, volunteers and devotees gathered at NEO Centre in Happy Garden for a Dhamma sharing by Bro. S. Y. Tong.
