Joyful teenage Dhamma camp in Kedah

We rejoice in the active participation of the participants in the camp and the selfless efforts of the organisers and facilitators.

From 14 – 17 December, over 70 teenagers participated in a learning camp at Nalanda Education & Outreach Centre in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Themed ‘Developing Respect’, the programme included various activities and learning sessions to understand the value and importance of respect.

Within their smaller learning groups, campers explored the different ways of cultivating respect for oneself, parents, teachers and friends. The camp also integrated mindfulness-based activities and meditation for campers to learn how to calm down their minds.
