Teens came ‘Ahoy‘ to the fore at Nalanda’s recent “Lead-A-Ship” camp. Held from 1st to 4th December, the leadership camp had 45 teenagers bonding and becoming kalyana mittas, even as they pick up pointers to become good leaders.
Aimed at cultivating and enhancing leadership skills, the 4-day camp had the participants involved in various activities such as workshops, presentations, team-building games, jungle trekking, obstacle tests, sing-alongs and talent shows, all of which aimed to boost their will power and self confidence. Chanting, meditation and Dhamma sharing were also included to promote spiritual practice. Participants were very much motivated to continue their practice even after the camp.
We sincerely appreciate all those involved in creating such a positive learning opportunity. Let’s hear it for our future leaders! Well done!
