In conjunction with ‘Buddha Day’ observance, we have arranged meaningful and spiritual programmes this weekend, from 11 – 12 May, leading up to the sacred day on 19 May. We invite you, your family and friends to join us at Nalanda Centre to experience a meaningful weekend and deepen our calmness and joy as we prepare ourselves spiritually for observing ‘Buddha Day’. Mental calmness and clarity are among the conditions we need to achieve peace and happiness in life. This Saturday, we joyfully host a Meditation Day for Youths, where participants will learn how to reduce mental clutter and increase resilience to face the modern world’s challenges and uncertainties. The Sunday service will commence at 9am with meditation, offerings, chanting and Dhamma talks in English by Dr. Phang Cheng Kar and in Mandarin by Sis. Nandini Tan.
We welcome our students back to K. Sri Dhammananda Centre to continue with their 4th learning session.

Nalanda Institute is organising a forum featuring Ven. Dr. Dhammapala, local composer and musical producer Mr. Chow Kam Leong (周金亮), and business consultant Mr. Wong Kah Cane (黄家建) to talk about their experiences in embracing compassion in their respective professions and daily practices. We invite you and your loved ones to join the Buddha Day ‘Peace Walk’ in Happy Garden, organised by Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch. The programme will commence at 5.00pm with free dinner for the public and opening salutations followed by a Dhamma talk at 6.30pm. The serene ‘Peace Walk’ around the housing community will start at 8.00pm.
