Less restrictions, more restraint

Less restrictions, more restraint

Let’s be patient, mindful and considerate of our own behaviours in order to protect others.

Today, Malaysia entered the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period with multiple restrictions being lifted after months of concerted efforts to bring the number of Covid-19 infections down.  Many businesses have resumed operations and people are returning to their usual lifestyles in a cautionary mode to prevent a second wave of infections.

Although there are now less restrictions, we can maintain our vigilance by limiting our movement to that which is necessary.  Continue to practise good hygiene, observe social distancing rules and be considerate of others’ to help curb the spread of the virus.

As individuals, restraint will help protect those around us.  As a nation, restraint will help bring this pandemic to an end.
