Meeting with parents of newly-registered Nalanda Dharma School students.

On Sunday 12 January, Nalanda Dharma School held its first meeting with parents of new students registered for 2014.  The meeting aimed at briefing parents about Nalanda’s educational philosophy, and to provide an avenue for parents to share their thoughts and views.

Sis. Joanne Tan represented the Secretariat to give an overview on Nalanda’s mission and vision, as well as our organisational structure.  Sis. Sugandha Ooi shared on Nalanda’s Education Model and its unique approach.

Sis. Nandini Tan also gave a sharing on the crucial role played by parents in nurturing a child to become an integral human being.  She also encouraged the parents to embark on the journey of learning together with their children at Nalanda.

Parents also took the opportunity to share their thoughts and views.  We thank all parents for partnering Nalanda for the spiritual education of their children.  We look forward to work closely with parents for the integral development of our students.
