On Saturday 5 October, the community came together to offer alms to the Sangha in the morning markets of Taman OUG and Happy Garden. The serene sight of the Sangha members on alms-round inspired many market-goers to offer food and drinks with deep devotion.
The monthly Pindacara programme was hosted by Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch members and volunteers, with the aim of creating opportunities for the community to partake in generous and meritorious deeds. It also serves as a platform to educate the public on the proper way to support the Sangha – that the alms-bowl is to receive food and drinks, NOT money.
We rejoice in the community’s generous spirit in supporting the Sangha full-heartedly. May your good deeds and kind intentions support you in your noble wishes.
