Monthly ‘Pindacāra’ at Seri Kembangan

Venerable monks going for ‘Pindacāra’ at Seri Kembangan accompanied by Nalanda officers.

On Saturday 21 March, Nalanda’s monthly ‘Pindacāra’ (monks going on alms-round) Programme was joyfully held at Seri Kembangan market.  The ‘Pindacāra’ was well-attended by local devotees and our ‘kalyana mitta’ (spiritual friends) from Kelantan.  It was indeed a delightful experience for them to participate in this wholesome activity while on their visit to Serdang.

Many devotees and volunteers waiting patiently for venerable monks to arrive along the ‘Pindacāra’ route.

Three venerable monks from Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple, Sentul were invited to partake in the alms-round.  Many devotees were waiting patiently for the arrival of the venerable “bhikkhus” (monks) at the ‘Pindacāra’ route, to offer cooked food to the monks.  The venerable monks conducted blessings for devotees and volunteers to conclude the alms-round.

We would like to thank all devotees, volunteers and supporters for participating in this wholesome activity.  May the merits accrued be shared with all beings.  Sadhu anumodana!
