The newly-completed ‘K. Sri Dhammananda Centre’ will be officiated on 6 October 2018.

After a year of reconstruction, we are deeply honoured to invite the community to the launching of ‘K. Sri Dhammananda Centre’ on Saturday, 6 October 2018.  The newly-completed building is named after Nalanda’s late Spiritual Adviser – the most Venerable K. Sri Dhammananda – who inaugurated our Society in 2003.  This facility is solely dedicated to Buddhist education and Dhamma propagation.

Since our inception, Nalanda Buddhist Society has been delivering holistic education to effect personal transformation; we have successfully reached out to over 23,000 beneficiaries who participated in our courses and programmes over the years.

The lovely Meditation Hall at Level 3 of the new Centre looks stunning at sunset.

Simple geometric lines define the front porch, which looks forward to welcoming visitors in future.

On 6 October, we shall also be celebrating Nalanda Buddhist Society’s 15th anniversary with a simple dinner in honour of our teachers, benefactors, supporters, and volunteers.  Their unwavering support has enabled Nalanda to continuously offer Dhamma-learning programmes for the community.

We look forward to welcoming all invited guests, volunteers, and members back to Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang to commemorate this joyous occasion together!  Sadhu anumodana.
