On Saturday 16 May, a multi-religious group led by Star Media Group CEO Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai visited the Buddhist Maha Vihara in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.  The group also paid visits to the Sam Kow Temple, Madrasatul Gouthiyyah, Tamil Methodist Church, Sri Sakthi Karpaga Vinayagar Temple, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Joining in the walk yesterday were Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute’s Center of Public Policy Studies Chairman Tan Sri Ramon Navaratnam, social activist Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, and the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur Julian Leow.

Wong said the walk was to promote religious understanding, and multi-culturalism among Malaysians.  It was also a great opportunity to meet with fellow Malaysians and to enjoy a weekend stroll with good friends.
