Nalanda Building Progress – 170th day

Nalanda Building Progress – 170th day

We are grateful that the project has recorded a 100% safety record, thanks to everyone's cooperation.

Today marks the 170th day since the Nalanda Centre Building Expansion Project began in mid-May.  Overall, the annex building is 86% completed, while the remaining work is progressing accordingly and is expected to be completed by December.  We are very thankful to have achieved a 100% safety record, thanks to good cooperation from the consultants, builders, and sub-contractors.

Currently, the electrical, water supply, and electronic systems between the two (existing and annex) buildings are being integrated.  The Building Team involving consultants and contractors has been meeting frequently to coordinate outstanding work and to keep to the schedule, so that the project can be completed on-time, satisfactorily, and successfully.

As of last Sunday, Nalanda’s Building Fund still faces a shortfall of RM424,790.  We would like to appeal for your funding and support towards this noble project.  Donations and sponsorships of any amount are most welcome in the name of “Nalanda Buddhist Society”.

We thank everyone for your continued good wishes and contribution towards the building expansion project.   We look forward to completing the Centre soon, so as to benefit the community earliest possible.  With deep appreciation and mettā!
