Director of NDS Sis. Sunanda led the discussions to develop the 2019 school plan.

On 22 – 25 December 2018, 20 Nalanda Dhamma School (NDS) facilitators from across Malaysia gathered for their annual retreat at Nalanda Centre.  Led by Director of NDS Sis. Sunanda, the facilitators reflected on their role as educators and developed the 2019 school plan in accordance with Nalanda’s educational philosophy.

The retreat commenced with the Nalanda Education Workshop 4.0, where facilitators aligned their direction and methods with guidance from the teachers.  The team then spent the next 3 days discussing their reflections on the workshop and boosting their spiritual cultivation through Dhamma talks, chanting and meditation sessions.  They also visited the first Malaysian Chinese Museum at Wisma HuaZhong for an insight into the history and contemporary narrative of this community.
